Pahayag ng BMP-ST sa SONA

BUKLURAN NG MANGGAGAWANG PILIPINO
(Southern Tagalog)

July 9, 2009

State of Emergency o Junta Militar.

CAVITE: July 19, 2009. Ganap na ika-1:00 ng hapon. Gaganapin sa Brgy. Madiran, Covered Court, General Mariano Alvarez-GMA.

LAGUNA: July 17, 2009. Ganap na ika-2:00 ng hapon. Gaganapin sa River View Conference Resort, Brgy. Parian, Calamba City.

BATANGAS: July 19, 2009. Ganap na ika-2:00 ng hapon. Gaganapin sa Brgy. Poblacion – 4 Sto. Tomas Batangas (Malapit sa Munisipyo ng Sto. Tomas)

QUEZON: July 23, 2009. Ganap na ika-1:00 ng hapon. Gaganapin sa CADIWA Office, Brgy. Masin Norte, Candelaria, Quezon.

1. TRABAHO, KABUHAYAN AT SIGURIDAD SA PANINIRAHAN! HINDI CON-ASS/CHA CHA NG MGA TRAPO AT ELITISTA!
2. PATAS, MALINIS AT MAPAYAPANG HALALAN, HINDI CON-ASS, KAGULUHAN AT DAYAAN!
3. CHA-CHA LABAN SA GLOBALISASYON AT GFC! HINDI PARA SA PERSONAL NA AMBISYONG PULITIKAL!
4. CON-CON DELEGATE NG MASA, HINDI NG MGA ELEITISTA!
5. NO TO MARTIAL LAW! NO TO CORRUPTION SA GOBYERNO!

Militants slammed the GMA Administration for the unabated bombings in the country

Members of the Militant BMP-Sanlakas and Partido Lakas ng Masa (PLM) picketed in front of the office of the NICA (National Intelligence Coordinating Agency) along V. Luna St., Quezon City to denounce and condemn the recent spate of bombings in the country. The group further believed that these unabated bombings is no longer a joke but a desperate move to preserve the illegitimate GMA government and is out to create a scenario that will ultimately entertain the possibility of declaring a state of emergency or worst a Martial Law option.

“These bombings are reminiscent of the era of President Marcos where a scenario of chaos are being hatched to scare the people and in anticipation of declaring Martial Law” Mr. Sonny Melencio, President of PLM (Partido Lakas ng Masa) said.

Mr. Melencio, who also sits as member of the BMP National Central Council further elaborated that, “The real bombs that besieged the Filipino people is the ramming through of Con-Ass to amend the Charter and the ever worsening economic crisis”.

The picketers presented a huge bomb made of paper with issues written on its surface and symbolically placed it in front of the gate of the NICA to register their message that it is returning the genuine bomb that will explode anytime and in turn will pave the way for more real chaos and disorder.

The group held a short program and took turns in lambasting the government’s hand in these bombings and singled out the culpability of Norberto Gonzalez, the incumbent National Security Adviser and an expert of terrorist acts like bombings during the time of Marcos.

The group vowed to escalate their efforts to expose and oppose the ploy of the government and calling on the Filipino people to exercise their utmost vigilance and frustrate any move to preserve and prolong the ascendancy of power of the illegitimate GMA administration.

BMP-KPML-PLM protesters offered songs
and flowers to pro con-ass legislators

In a bid to sustain its hounding shame campaign, members of the militant labor group BMP and its allied organizations, KPML (Kongreso ng Pagkakaisa ng Maralitang Lungsod) and Partido Lakas ng Masa (PLM) trooped their way to 2 members of the lower house residing in Quezon City.

This time around, the group simultaneously offered flowers and songs to Reps. Nanette Daza and Bingbong Crisologo in what they perceived was a way to convince the above mentioned lawmakers to withdraw their signatures to the House Resolution 1109.

Romy Castillo, PLM spokesman explained to the public that “All those lawmakers who were not vocal but became part of the signatories should be reminded of their anti-people act and therefore must heed to the urgent call to withdraw”.

The group further believed that if these legislators reconsider their signatures, then their chances of recovering their lost grounds would be intact and would work favorably come the peoples’ verdict in 2010.

“Prime movers in the mold of Nograles and his cohorts should be singled out for entertaining chaos from the possible wrath and discontentment of the Filipino people. This early, various sectors and concerned personalities and individuals were already wary of the consequences of the convening of the Constituent Assembly.” Castillo added.

BMP and its allied organizations vowed to vigorously pursue their hounding shame campaign to the 211 pro Con-Ass legislators.

Goldilocks Workers Slammed Corruption in NLRC

Hundreds of workers belonging to the Goldilocks Union together with the militant labor group Bukluran ng Manggagawang Pilipino (BMP) joined by other labor groups and sectors gathered in front of the building occupied by the NLRC National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) along Banawe Ave, Quezon City for a huge rally.

The rally was a condemnation of the workers to an earlier decision by the NLRC through Commissioner Nieves De Castro involving the case of Goldilocks Union. The decision ordered the dismissal of 127 union leaders on the basis of launching an illegal strike. The decision was a far out for no strike ever took place at the Goldilocks.

The workers further believed that Commissioner De Castro’s decision was grossly unfair to the workers and totally anomalous. Not a single individual would agree that what Commissioner De Castro did was fair and just.

The workers are demanding that Comm. De Castro should inhibit the pending case of Motion for Reconsideration they have earlier filed in response to the decision.

Joel Lachica, the Goldilocks Union President, asserted that “There’s should be no place for a GMA-clone in the mold of Comm. De Castro at the NLRC. She must immediately resign to preserve the integrity of the commission.”

The group vowed to escalate its protests to ultimately achieve justice of their case and pursue its crusade to clean up the scalawags hibernating at the commission. #

BMP-Sanlakas-PLM “Prayer Warriors” went to the house of Judas Nograles, the leader of the 211 traitors at the house of Representatives

Members of the militant labor group BMP-KPML-Sanlakas trooped to the house of Speaker Prospero Nograles as part of their sustained hounding shame campaign to the 211 pro-con ass legislators.

The group once again performed their litany of prayers through their “prayer warriors” with messages denouncing the act of passing the HR 1109 but this time presenting to the public the house of the legislator they dubbed as the abode of “ Judas Nograles “ adjudged as the Speaker and leader among the Judases of the lower house.

The group decided to hound Judas Nograles to remind him their act of betrayal to the Filipino masses. Mr. Teody Navea, BMP Secretary General and spokesperson of the group stressed that “We singled out Judas Nograles for we believed his culpability of the passing of the resolution. We are disturbed that Judas Nograles seemed unmoved, unaffected and totally disregard the overwhelming negative reactions of Filipino people.”

Judas Nograles earlier claimed that what they have done do not merit denouncement from the masses and as if nothing happened with matching wanton display of arrogance.

The group reiterated their responsorial psalm “Con-Ass ng mga Hudas dapat nang magwakas” among the crowd who witnessed the picket cum prayer rally at the house of Judas Nograles.

The group vowed to continue their crusade with more lined up houses of traitors to be visited for their hounding shame campaign.

BUDHI NG BAYAN ANG MAY ATAS

11 pantig, soneto

Budhi na ng bayan ang nag-aatas
Kung bakit dapat labanan ang Con Ass
Pinatunayan nitong sadyang ungas
Ang mga lingkod bayang di parehas.

Dahil sa dal’wampung milyong pisong kas
Ay pinaglaruan nila ang batas
Ang mamamayan, at pati ang bukas
Ng bayan nating kanilang hinudas.

Kongreso’y parang pugad na ng ahas
Tulung-tulong ang mga talipandas
Kaya kababayan, tayo’y lumabas
Magtulungan tayo laban sa Con Ass.

Budhi na ng bayan ang nag-aatas
Kaya dapat labanan itong Con Ass.

30 PILAK NOON, 20M PISO NGAYON
ni Gregorio V. Bituin Jr.

Tatlumpung pirasong pilak noon
Ang tinanggap ng alagad na si Hudas
Dalawampung milyong piso ngayon
Ang tinanggap para ipasa ang Con Ass.

Baya’y tuluyang ibinabaon
Sa krisis ng mga kongresistang ungas
Na walang pakialam sa nasyon
Mamamayan man ay magkalagas-lagas.

O, bakit kaya sila’y ganoon?
Sariling interes ang kanilang batas!
Iyan ang alam ng mga iyon
Kaya sa mamamayan ay naghuhudas!

Con Ass ng trapo’y itapon ngayon
At ipalit natin ang magandang bukas.

Para sa Pagbabago: Rebolusyon hindi Cha Cha!

Press Release
June 10, 2009
Bukluran ng Manggagawang Pilipino

Labanan ang Con Ass!
Para sa Pagbabago: Rebolusyon hindi Cha Cha!

Thousands of workers, urban poor, peasants, women and students under the banner of the Bukluran ng Manggagawang Pilipino (BMP)join today’s rally to slam the convening of the constituent assembly to change the 1987 Constitution and call for genuine social change and not mere charter change.

All sectors of society, particularly the toiling masses and workers believe that this act of the Lower House of Congress, supported and hatched by the GMA administration should be condemned and fought in the highest degree.

Acoording to Leody de Guzman, President of BMP, “This act is so sickening! It is a blatant insult to the Filipino masses and workers. As if 9 years in power for GMA and her cohorts are not enough. Lies and deceit, political killings and plundering of the nation’s coffer by this administration for almost a decade are already intolerable and nauseating.”

“The news that each representative received P20 million for their ‘aye’ vote - a crime that amounts to 4.22 billion for 211 representatives who passed HR 1109 - while thousands of workers are getting retrenched due to the crisis and the poor getting hungrier is really disgusting. We will not let these representathieves, along with the GMA administration go away with this impertinent act unpunished! We will hound and shame them persistently.” de Guzman adjoins.

De Guzman asserted that “Clearly, the Filipino workers and poor masses can no longer rely on the present system. There are talks that even the Supreme Court will decide and act favorably to the GMA administration. The whole system is rotten. The system that perpetuates this kind of politics – the trapo and elite politics of the rich and powerful! The system that has ruined this nation for decades and cursed us into bankruptcy.”

“We call on all our worker and poor brothers and sisters to be vigilant and fight this callous act of the GMA administration and finally put a break on this decaying trapo and elite system. Likewise we call on our esteem brothers and sisters in the Armed Forces of this nation to side with the insurgent masses, and truly uphold their sworn duty to protect this country and its people from this rotten and bankrupt system – this trapo and elite system!” de Guzman adds.

“This multisectoral rally will not be the last, it is only the beginning. We will work tirelessly in fighting this treacherous act of the Lower House of Congress and the GMA administration. We will vigilantly fight for genuine change and an end to this decadent trapo system! Para sa Pagbabago, Rebolusyon hindi Cha-Cha!” de Guzman concludes. ###
