MANILA, Philippines – Protesters wearing "prayer warrior" costumes gathered in front of Plaza Miranda Wednesday morning and, in satirical fashion, formally launched their shame campaign aimed at denouncing the more than 200 members of the House of Representatives who were proponents of the constituent assembly.
Led by comedian Tado who was dressed as Moses, members of militant groups BMP-Sanlakas- KPML and Partido Lakas ng Masa (PLM), performed before the crowd a symbolic litany and offered lighted Chinese prayer sticks to "drive away the evil spirits of the altar of traitors" which prominently displayed the faces of the members of the House of Representatives in a huge canvass.
